I’ve always been open to the idea that we are not alone and that there are angelic beings and divine helpers available to us if we chose to call on them. For years, I have heard and read about ways we can ask for their help and that they love to help us in any way we desire. No request is too big or small, too mundane or complex.
Personally, I have called on angelic helpers for all kinds of assistance ranging from finding lost items to bringing me ideal clients and providing guidance when I feel confused and afraid. When I ask for this help, I trust I will receive it and I generally feel amazed at the way things show up and answers are received.
I know for me, this has been one of the most helpful resources in building a successful business. While I put the usual business structures in place, I do not do too much of the recommended marketing. I find it much easier and enjoyable to ask for divine assistance and I have found it works! I may write more about this in the future as I feel it is a much overlooked resource available to all of us.
Recently, I had a fun way of being reminded of this angelic presence. A few days ago I was looking through some old photos on my digital camera and came across the photo above. This photo was taken 4-5 months ago after a wind storm that knocked down this branch in my back yard.
The branch hit my tool shed door and unhooked the door latch which opened the door of the shed. You can see from the photo that the branch landed in such a way that the door of the shed held part of it and the fence supported the rest.
The strange thing was when the branch was removed there was not one trace of any damage to the shed or the fence. Not even a scratch… The man who came to remove the branch for me was amazed that there was no damage. He commented that if the branch had landed differently my shed or fence could have been destroyed.
I was amused and relieved and didn’t think much more about it until seeing the photo again yesterday and noticing three orbs of light in the photo that I had not noticed before. (Notice the large orb on the branch on the right side of photo. There are also two smaller orbs—one on the roof and one on the door of the shed.)
I have heard that many people see orbs in digital photos and some believe they are signs of spiritual energy or angelic beings. Others say they are nothing more than particles of dust that get captured in the picture taking process. In this case, maybe the spots are simply water drops. Since this branch landed in such an unusual way and did no damage, I prefer the more magical interpretation. Why not?
So how can you access your divine helpers?
- Simply Ask
It really isn’t that complicated. Talk to your angels. (I’ll call them angels for the sake of simplicity. You can think of them any way you want…divine helpers, ascended beings, your deceased grandmother…etc.)
I ask for help whenever I feel I need it. Start with small things if you need to build up trust and confidence that you are being heard and assisted. When you misplace an item, ask where it is. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you get a thought to “look here… under the couch, under the bed,” etc.
Then progress to bigger issues. Ask what to do to get clients, when to move to a new location, how to find a new job, how to deal with a difficult relationship. Writing your questions in a journal can help solidify the process.
- Trust and Have Faith
This step is critically important. It is very helpful to trust and believe you will receive the assistance you ask for. Not because they won’t help you otherwise. I believe they will. But the trust and faith makes you open to hear and receive the help. If you don’t believe they will help, how will you hear or receive the guidance when it comes through?
I find the guidance comes through when you least expect it. You may be driving, washing the dishes or taking a shower and receive the answer to your question. Listen carefully when you receive this guidance and then act on it.
- Express Gratitude
I find the angels to be very joyful and happy to help. They feel like playful children to me and literally jump for joy when I acknowledge them and their help. I can feel it and almost see it.
Express thanks for their help as soon as you make the request. Expect that they get on the task as soon as you request it. Know you will get the help and be grateful.
The more you play with this process, the more easy and natural it feels. You develop the muscles to trust in the process and can relax knowing you are truly never alone.
